Fifty members of a bipartisan problem-solvers caucus have issued its own checklist for rebooting the national economy.
The group, which includes 25 democrats and 25 republicans, has spent about four weeks putting together its checklist, which could spark cooperation on legislation balancing safety and economic recovery.
Congressman Bill Johnson (R-Marietta) is a member of the caucus who was on the teleconference."We've got adversaries that are standing on the sideline,” he said. “Adversaries like China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and others, that are ready to fill in the void of any gaps that are created. We have got to create a way to be nimble, to be quick, to be responsive.”
