CANFIELD, Ohio - People stopping by Stone Fruit Coffee in Canfield got a surprise with their cup of Joe Friday.
 
Congressman Bill Johnson was brewing it for them.
 
It's part of his "Undercover Congressman" campaign that has taken him everywhere from local gas stations to grocery stores.
 
Johnson says it's a hands on approach that helps keep him connected. “We go out and talk with business owners and their customers as they go up to the counter because there's no better way to find out what people are thinking about,” said the congressman.
 
Johnson worked for a couple of hours Friday morning. He says the program has gone very well, and he'll try his hand at a local pharmacy next.
 
In previous weeks, Johnson has gone “undercover” bagging groceries at the Calcutta Giant Eagle, ringing up purchases at a gas station in Cadiz, Ohio and preparing burgers at a Wendy's restaurant in Cambridge.
 
Johnson is asking constituents to suggest ideas for future “undercover” jobs through his Facebook page.
