Congressman Bill Johnson (R-Marietta) issued the following statement regarding the killing of Osama bin Laden by the U.S. military:
“Today is a great day for America. Osama bin Laden has finally faced justice. His death is a testament to the professionalism of our military and intelligence communities and brings an end to a dark chapter in our nation’s history. As an Air Force veteran who was serving when bin Laden started his reign of terror that culminated in the Sept. 11 attacks, I know that our fight against terrorism continues and dangers persist. We must remain vigilant in this war … and, we will win.” |
