Johnson Challenges Lawmakers to Pass Budget

A local Congressman thinks if lawmakers aren't going to do their jobs, then they shouldn't be getting paid. U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-6th, recently introduced what he's calling the "Pass a Budget Now" Act. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar on Wednesday denied meddling with an environmental review that initially found a proposed rule would cost thousands of coal jobs before contractors were allegedly pressured to change the numbers.
