TUESDAY, April 10, 2012
11 am - 12:30 pm: Bill Johnson will visit the Washington County Adult Technical Center in Marietta to discuss their current curriculum, as well as the school's future direction as it prepares to train students for jobs in the oil and gas industry. Washington County Adult Technical Center, 21740 State Route 676, Marietta.
1 - 2 pm: Bill Johnson will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony located at Eramet Marietta for the new Good River Distribution water service station that will service four businesses along the Ohio River. Along with other elected officials and community business leaders, Johnson will offer celebratory remarks. Eramet Marietta, 16705 State Route 7, Marietta.
WEDNESDAY, April 11, 2012
6:30 - 7:30 pm: Bill Johnson will hold a town hall event with a focus on jobs in Gallipolis. Along with Jodie McCalla, Managing Director of BTS Software Solutions in Gallipolis, Johnson will speak about what BTS and other companies are doing to create jobs in Southeastern Ohio. Johnson will field questions about job creation during the question and answer segment of the forum. Gallia Academy High School, 2855 Centenary Road, Gallipolis.
THURSDAY, April 12, 2012
10 - 10:45 am: Bill Johnson will tour Payless Shoe Source at the Steubenville Mall. Payless is the largest family shoe retailer in the United States. 100 Mall Drive, Space A-27, Steubenville.
12 - 12:30 pm: Bill Johnson will speak at the Salem Kiwanis luncheon at the Salem Community Center. After a brief speech about small businesses and job creation, Johnson will take questions from attendees. Salem Community Center, 1098 North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem.
1:30- 2 pm: Bill Johnson will speak at the OH-PENN Manufacturing Workforce Summit on the campus of Youngstown State University. The Summit is hosted by the Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition. Johnson will speak about recent developments regarding the Utica and Marcellus Shales and the job opportunities headed to Eastern Ohio as a result.
